³² Ever since creation it has never been heard that anyone healed^[a] the eyes of a man who was born blind. ³³ If this man were not from God, he couldn’t do anything like that.”

³⁴ They asked him, “You were born a sinner^[b] and you are trying to instruct us?” And they threw him out.
